I hope to visit the/a museum.译为；
我希望参观这个博物馆
第二个句子译为：我希望（不久）就参观这个博物馆.现在进行时表将来用语很快就要发生的动作或行为

不一样，前者是想去，我希望去图书馆，去的欲望没有后者强烈。后者，我希望我现在就去图书馆，更急切

不能，前一个译为“我希望去参观博物馆"（希望去，还未去),后一个译为”我希望我正在参观博物馆”（希望此刻正在参观).以上是笔者理解，仅供参考。
