准确的说,one of是量词短语.与One of 意义相同,用法相同的结构还有each of和every one of.这三者后面接名词复数,但谓语动词要用单数,也就是说谓语动词的数与One,each,和every一致.
如：one of my friends is here.
each of my friends is here.
every one of my friends is here.
类似的结构还有：some of,a lot of和two-thirds of,这三者后面既可以接可数名词也可以接不可数名词,句子谓语动词的数和这三者后面名词的数一致.
如:some of the book is good./some of the books are good.
a lot of the equipment is new./a lot of my friends are here.
two-thirds of the money is mine./two-thirds of the pennies are mine.
