The Chinese New Year
All countries celebrate their own new year, and they might be difference. The Chinese people have their own culture so they have their own new year. They was happened only once a year and Chinese people have their own calander the new year was on the first date of the year on the Chinese calander.
During the new year eve, people go out to the parks or street and either play or watch the fireworks, and at some park they even get other special events, such as the dance dragon or dance lion. Chinese people believe the dance dragon or lion will scared the evil away and bring a new year to them and a whole new begining with good luck.
At the afternoon of the new year eve, people go to their relatives and friends house to give money to the children that symbols helping the child during the year. After that families will gather together to eat dinner together. They usually eat dumpling as the old culture and then they will talk and watch the new year show on TV.
People is happy about Chinese new year in China. No matter where they are in the World, the families will go back the their parents and eat dinner with them and have a happy time at the begin of the new year.
