It takes a village to raise a child :)
g'day you who visit my blog :)
As you may have noticed,I have removed the list of names of people in my world,I keep getting the feeling that I should keep this private,at it is to serve my own purposes for remembering all who have raised me and shape me :)
They say it takes an entire village to raise a child,I believe that with all my heart :)
My parents,grandparents,uncles,aunties,cousins,friends,the family of Christ here in Australia,not just the Chinese Christian Church communities (CCOWE,Chinese Congress on World Evangelism) in Chinese,but from all nations,tribe and tongue (eg Africa,Korea,England,US etc),through the English language :)
This year,I am going through the Bible in chronological order,with particular emphasis on seeking God's Name,His Glorious,Holy,Awesome,Powerful,Loving,Faithful,Mighty,Empowering,Patient,Ruling Name Above All Names!
Also trying to pay attention to His promises,and His role of Healing,Restoration and Salvation.
Personally,I have,for many years been keen to develop possible future ministries of teaching,healing and evangelism,as it has been consistent with my deep convictions,the confirmation of gifts of communication,compassion,humour/perspective and my own salvation.
All these come from the Lord,the Source of All Good things for His Name's Sake (Psalm 23:3).
"He restores my soul.He leads me in right paths for His Name's sake." (New Revised Standard Version)
let's keep running the race,being lead by our Good Shepherd,the Great I AM,our Pillar of Fire at night,and Pillar of Cloud by day.
PS been watching alot of the Australian Christian Channel lately,really awesome and powerful stuff!Really ministered to by Pastor Rob Buckingham of Bayside in Melbourne,Pastor Phil Pringle of Oxford Falls (Christian City Church),Pastor Brian Houston (hillsong tv),ofcourse the lovely Joyce Meyer,Dr David Jeremiah (Turning Point),Jentezen Franklin (Kingdom Connection)...and so many more,it is abundant with the Word of God,and spreading Faith,Power,Love,a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7)...Awesome,Eternal Stuff!
Indeed it takes a village to raise a child,a village of God's people,to raise a child of God,AMEN!
Oh yes,almost forgot,med school starts next week with 2 days of campus orientation,and one day of clinical orientation.Problem Based tutorials start on thursday,and a series of 6 lectures in the Basic Clinical Sciences (anatomy,physiology etc) and other themes more humanitiy-like:patient-doctor,doctor-community...really looking forward to this!Been a dream come true,going to be an action packed week,hopefully I can come back here for some debriefing.
