1. What kind of of institution are you working for? (for example, 

newspapers, publishing houses, or foreign companies, etc)?

I am work at Xinhua News Agency.

2. What is the daily requirements of the job?(What is your daily work, busy with work? such as what?)

I have to provide at least three news stories for our agency. I am busy seaching for news within 24 hours even at sleep by setting alarm for breaking news.

3. Do you love your current work? Is translation work an enjoyable work for you? Are you happy with the current working conditions?

Yes, I love my current work even I still have a lot to learn. To be honest if I don't want to work here, where can I get a better work? Translation work is not enjoyable but I have to do it because it is my work. My work condition is good and I have nothing to complain.

4. Are you currently engaged in the translation field that was your dream field? If not, why did you give up trying to find your dream work?

No, My dreamed field is sport but I am focusing on economy. I have given up my dreamed field because I had to, I was given no other options. Otherwise I would not be employed by Xinhua.

5. When you are working in the translation industry, what are the biggest difficulties for you.(Such as interpersonal skills, work experience, position on their ability, etc)

My biggest difficulties are I didn't have experience and sometime hard to learn from others because I have little chance to meet my colleagues.

6.Do you usually read the works of English and American literature (including classic, popular books like)?If so, can you give some examples?

I do read a lot American litteratures including some classic work such as 'Gone with the wind' ' Godfather'. 

7. Translation of class whether you and your wife is very high with theliterary quality of the work, need to know a lot of British and American cultural knowledge, literature culture contributory 

role in whether your translation work?

Yes, that is true. The more you understand the history of those countries the easier you work.

8. Are you following the politics in Europe and America? Are you listening to foreign broadcasts and international media, such as VOA,BBC?

I do. I have to because that is part of my work.

9. You have engaged in this work, so based on your experiene what kind of preparation a college student need to do for their future interested intranslation work?

They need to complete every course as school required. They can read some history book to broarden their knowledge.

10. Have you ever felt depressed due to work stress? Have you ever thought of quitting the job or regreted to have taken the job?

I do have felt streeful with my work, but I am OK with it and have not regreted to have taken the job. 

11. Do you love English?If you do, what has attracted you the most?

I love English. I have found English is the most beautiful language. The popularity of English has attracted me the most.
 

12.Do you feel in a state of stagnation, just to accomplish tasks in machinical way without any enthusiasm and motivation?

No, I feel I am learning and I believe I need to learn in my whole life.

13, Could you tell me the reason you love your work?

The reason is simple. I was looking for a job and Xinhua gave me the job. I love working here because Xinhua is one of the most famous one in the world.

14 What do you think a special character of the person is necessary for the job?Any special requirment for the work or it will be fine as long as a person working hard silently on the line?

No, I don't think there is any special requirement. I you are willing to learn and willing to communicate with people, then you can do it.

15 Could you please tell me your vision for the future of your career and look forward to.(Of course, don't pull the tricky question.）
