Abstract and Introduction
China comes toward to world more and more quickly in the 21st century and the usage of English almost permeates through every fields of this days.So does the other parts of the world,with a deeper globalization degree be,much more importance will be attached to English as well as English education.Governments try many ways to find an effective teaching method and they focus on a special group——native English speaking teacher.With the increasing rate of native English speaking teacher,more and more students can enjoy this kind of educational resource.So the question comes to us:what characteristics should a native English speaking teacher have if he teaches English in a foreign country especially in China?This paper discusses this question and want to find out some basic features they should have to be an effective language teacher.In this investigative reporting,I interview 2 classmates in my class and I think their opinions and requests can represent us in some degree.Finally I get a result which will comes into details following.
